Number 5 Cwmdonkin Drive is in the Uplands area in Swansea. The Uplands still retains many of its turn-of-the-century small shops. There is limited parking on the steep hill of Cwmdonkin Drive. There is also parking on level ground at Hillside Crescent.

Head west towards Uplands then follow the brown tourist information signs for Dylan Thomas Birthplace. Be aware that the house is on a steep hill!

Service 5: Swansea City Centre – Cwmdonkin Circular via Uplands, Glanmor Park Road & Cwmdonkin Drive departs from Stand X (17.45 from Stand W) at Swansea City Bus Station. It does not operate on Sundays or bank holidays except Good Friday. Be sure to make the driver aware that you would like to visit 5 Cwmdonkin Drive as the route does not always take you directly past the house. For more details you can find the timetable here
